Out of nearly 80,000 applications, Canadian Caroline Parke received a much sought after nomination for her 2021 album Pause and Pine. Shocking as it was to receive this honour, it was well learned as this album features 2 cover tunes, 9 original vocals tunes, and 1 original instrumental, beautifully performed by Ms.Deanna Dolstra, a music teacher and person friend of Parke's. Album Review: Caroline Parke's CD was and remains a very pleasant surprise. It was intriguing to hear Caroline singing a collection of songs (including a real traditional "Take These Chains from My Heart") that are sure to touch the heart of all who listen. Her vocals and selections of songs make this CD one you will want for your personal collection and warrant airplay around the world. “One More for Marty Robbins” is yet another example of a song that is sure to become a classic and as we all know, classic songs never grow old…. Caroline can be extremely proud of this project as well as her ability to introduce great songs to a new generation of country music fans. Watch for this great Classy Lady at a venue near you and you will not be disappointed in her or her music. It is seldom that you find an artist who has the vocals of an Angel.... What an honour it was to have the opportunity to review such an awesome collection of songs and know there are more to come. Carolines' heartfelt renditions continue to inspire her offstage and grounded her lauded musical journey. “Days Gone By" and several new songs off her CD "Pause and Pine" are sharing the jubilation she has found personally with listeners everywhere.
